Arizona water is hard. We install whole-home filtration and softener systems that protect your plumbing, your appliances, and your family.
Arizona consistently ranks among the states with the hardest water in the country. Those dissolved minerals — calcium, magnesium, and others — build up inside your pipes, water heater, dishwasher, and washing machine over time. 100% Plumbing installs filtration systems across the Northwest Valley to improve water quality and taste. Looking to address hardness specifically? See our Water Softener page.
Owner Mont Stephenson has been working with Arizona water for 35 years. We know what it does to plumbing systems over time and we know what works. We'll assess your water, explain your options honestly, and install a system sized right for your home — not oversold.
Very hard — typically 200–300 parts per million of dissolved minerals. For reference, water above 120 PPM is considered hard. Peoria's water is well above that threshold.
Softened water has slightly higher sodium content from the ion exchange process. Most people can't taste the difference. If you want filtered drinking water at the tap, we can add a reverse osmosis system at the kitchen sink.
Most whole-home softener installations take 2–4 hours. You'll have soft water the same day.
